Let workflows create and update items on your monday.com boards and start when those boards change.
monday.com connects your monday boards to Link AI so Workflows can create items, update columns, move items, post updates, and start when something changes in monday. Use it when your team already tracks work in monday.com.

Each action and trigger lets you pick the board, group, and columns from searchable selectors, so you don't need any monday IDs.
Before you start
- Installing the app is an admin action in monday. If you are not an account admin, monday sends an install request to your admins.
- Understand how board access works. monday has two separate gates:
- Authorization (OAuth) controls the permissions Link AI gets, such as reading boards and creating items. This happens every time you connect.
- Installation scope controls which workspaces the app can see. An admin chooses this once when installing the app.
Link AI can only see boards in the workspaces the app was installed on. If the app was installed on a single workspace, only that workspace's boards appear, even when the connection looks healthy. This is a monday account setting, not a Link AI limitation.
Connect
You should see your monday boards in the workflow action and trigger selectors.
Use it in a workflow
Add a monday.com action or trigger in the workflow editor, then pick the board, group, and columns. Board selectors search across every workspace the app can access, so you can type a board name instead of scrolling. A monday webhook is registered automatically for the selected board when you save a workflow with a monday trigger.
Disconnecting monday removes only the stored connection. Your workflows and their monday configuration stay intact and resume once you reconnect.
Troubleshooting
Only some boards or workspaces show up
The app was installed on a limited set of workspaces. This is almost always the install scope, not a permissions issue or bug. Also confirm the connecting monday user is a member of the other workspaces. Fix it one of two ways:
Option A: add workspaces to the existing install (fastest)
- In monday, go to your avatar → Administration → Apps (or Installed apps).
- Find Link AI.
- Open its workspace access settings and add the workspaces you want (or select all workspaces).
- Return to Link AI. The new boards appear in the selectors with no reconnect.
Option B: reinstall with all workspaces
- In monday, go to Administration → Apps and uninstall Link AI.
- In Link AI, open Integrations → monday.com and click Connect again.
- monday shows the install screen. Choose All workspaces.
- Authorize, and boards from every workspace load.
No boards load at all
The integration is not connected, or the connection was removed. Reconnect from Integrations → monday.com.
A trigger does not fire
Confirm the workflow is active and that the board selected in the trigger matches the board where the change happened.
An action fails with "monday.com not connected"
The connection was removed after the workflow was built. Reconnect, then run the workflow again. Disconnecting never deletes workflows.
A multi level (Portfolio) board does not appear
Make sure you are on the latest version of Link AI. Board listing includes both classic and multi level boards.
